About Me

Burnt Gifts was created by one guy (me) and a laser about a year and a half ago. I’ve always been interested in 3D printing and enjoy tinkering around with different printers and new materials. I’ve spent the last few years teaching myself how to program and maintain a variety of 3D printing units however none of them have ever been as versatile as the laser cutter. The intricacy and detail a laser provides is incredible and beautiful.

After trialing a few ideas, I identified a product that would not only appeal to many people, but also be fun to work with. Pet Ornaments! In 2022 I worked around the clock, taking manual orders from Facebook, finishing wood, cutting ornaments, and packing orders for customers around Calgary. (Probably drove my neighbors crazy with all the traffic). Since then I have branched out with new products and ideas including recruiting my father into the business to make handmade wood cutting boards.

My dream is to design specialty products in quality materials at a reasonable price.
